When times change, people and standards change too. A lot of households are seeing both partners in a relationship going to work everyday and becoming infinitely busier. Despite this new stress, there are people out there who see opportunity. By going to work directly for busy families, and completing everyday household tasks, an entire economy has been created around household helpers.
Christopher Dansby, a full-time professional household helper, does not live the life of any ordinary worker. His work is filled with a lot more hustle, but also a lot more joy and freedom than others. His work as a driver and helper has served multiple families, and makes the lives of busy professionals much easier.
Dansby day begins bright and early every morning and he sticks to his standard routine:
“My day starts at 5 AM, I get up and let out my German Shepard Blitz, meanwhile I have a cup of Starbucks Colombian coffee. Once I am done I let Blitz back inside, give him a treat, and refresh his water bowl.”
Dansby is usually out of the door by 6:20 AM and arrives at work by 7. For the beginning of his day he has a pretty standard routine of picking up a number of kids and taking them to a variety of Mainline private Schools in his 2015 black Suburban.
“My first stop is at Agnes Irwin, Second is at Holy Child, then I go to Haverford and at my last school is AIM.” Chris Said
Dansby’s morning routine ends at about 8:30 when he has finally dropped off his last kid. Afterwards he has a number of different tasks.
“I am doing a number of miscellaneous tasks such as dry cleaning, food shopping, and post office. Sometimes I will pick someone up and take them to a place they want me to.”
Dansby his day consists of a number of tasks that he does for a couple different families. Chris has been able to take a new approach to how he makes his living. He drives around doing errands and much needed tasks for families, all while making meaningful connections and maintaining great relationships.
Dansby does not live the life of any ordinary worker. His work is filled with a lot more hustle but also a lot more joy and freedom than others. His work as a driver has served multiple families and is set to make the life of many mothers and fathers much easier.
