A call for unity

Editors-in-Chief Adiyan Nayak ’24, Ethan Lee ’24, and Christopher Schwarting ’24 – Mr. Thomas Stambaugh

We are into the second half of the school year, and, in the wake of recent events, our message is simple: stick together. It might sound banal, but it is often the most obvious advice that is most required in moments of adversity and conflict. Our message is not directed at the student body alone, but at each community member that makes this place so special. What separates our school from the rest is our undying support for each other, and that extends to every student, teacher, and staff member who walks on this campus.

It is not our wish to make more of something than it is, but the last couple of weeks have been a tumultuous time for the student body, its leaders, and their relationship with the administration. It is important now more than ever that we remember that we all stand together. Take accountability for your actions when it is due; if appropriate, stick up for yourself and your brothers, and do so with dignity and respect. Now is the time—especially for the Sixth Form—to protect the community we’ve worked so hard to cultivate to foster a place of togetherness and loyalty.

Let’s find the spark in each other to push toward the coming spring.

In what is often considered the dreariest time of year, let’s find the spark in each other to push toward the coming spring.

Let’s get there together, and let’s do it the right way.
