Gentlemen,
Thank you all for being so supportive of me throughout my tenure so far. It has been such an enjoyable experience to work for and with you, and I cannot express enough how much your gratitude means to me. I am looking forward to a stellar second half of the year filled with performances and athletics and new experiences for us to share. We will further our bond as an Upper School and I will continue to work on bringing together the Lower and Middle schools with us.
This is my favorite time of year. Summer is fun and all, but the month that includes Thanksgiving and Christmas brings me so much joy. Students are happy for the time off, teachers are at full throttle preparing for exams, it’s the best season for music, both from our own students and the holiday playlists—it really is the most wonderful time of the year.
Being thankful and loving on the outside is so important for our health and well being.
Everyone I see in the hallways has a smile on their face and is happy to see their friends. This is what I meant at the beginning of the year when I said the happiness will spread if we are all compassionate. Being thankful and loving on the outside is so important for our health and well being. I hope that this pattern of kindness continues in its present, second-nature form the rest of the year.
Make sure to get plenty of rest over the break. Stay warm, eat well, be with your families. I’ll see you all soon. Happy Holidays!
