Stay connected

Editors-in-Chief Adiyan Nayak ’24, Ethan Lee ’24, and Christopher Schwarting ’24 – Mr. Thomas Stambaugh

In just a matter of days, the Class of 2023 will embark on a new chapter of their lives and become alumni of The Haverford School, while the familiar annual tradition of grades moving up will occur. Students will transition into the summer months, spreading out across jobs, family visits, and athletic tournaments.

We recognize the importance of the culture and community that the Class of 2023 has created. Over the past year, events like the exhilarating performances of the sports teams on EA Day, the dramatic opening night of Les Misérables, and thought-provoking student Reflections have forged the bonds between the forms to be stronger than ever before.

As this transformative year draws to a close, we urge students to stay connected this summer and not lose what the seniors have worked hard to build over the last year. The importance of the community created cannot be understated. The unity and sense of community and belonging created must not be lost over the summer.

We will strive to accurately represent what happens in the community and share your story with integrity, authenticity, and precision.

The Index plays a vital role in keeping the community connected—we will strive to accurately represent what happens in the community and share your story with integrity, authenticity, and precision.

During the summer, reach out to a friend and stay connected, and we can start the school year further than we left off. With the foundation of the Class of 2023, we can create a legacy and community that will transcend our eventual graduation.

With the support of one another and the dedication to preserving our unique community experience, the possibilities for the future are limitless. Let us embrace this opportunity to further strengthen our community bonds and make the upcoming year truly extraordinary.
